If you are attending our welcome picnic and/or the farewell brunch the dress code is casual.

For the ceremony and reception, please don your best semi-formal apparel. Consider that weather may fall anywhere from hot and humid to cool and foggy. Also please keep in mind the ceremony location requires you to walk down some dirt stairs or the dirt ADA ramp. We suggest you leave the stilettos and extra long hemlines at home. Unfortunately, only those formally addressed on your save the date and on the wedding invitation can be accommodated.

Our ceremony will be located at the Old Mill Amphitheater in Old Mill Park. Our reception will be located at the Mill Valley Community Center at 180 Camino Alto, Mill Valley, CA 94941. Please arrive to the Mill Valley Community Center first. We will provide shuttles to the Old Mill Amphitheater. We will have signage when you arrive directing you were to go. The time of the last shuttle before the ceremony will be posted here prior to the event.

If you are running late, just as Maddie would, the Old Mill Amphitheater is located at 315 Throckmorton Ave, Mill Valley, CA 94941. Please note that parking in that area is much more limited. We would suggest you still navigate to the Mill Valley Community Center and then take a rideshare to the Old Mill Amphitheater.

If you are joining us by flying in, please see the airport information section for details on navigating to Mill Valley. Once in Mill Valley, Marin Transit Bus Route #17 will take you to the Mill Valley Community Center. If you are traveling Northbound, get off E Blithedale Ave & Roque Moraes Dr. If you are traveling Southbound, get off at the E Blithedale Ave & Camino Alto stop.

To get to our ceremony location, on Marin Transit Bus Route #17, get off on the Mill Valley Depot-Sunnyside Ave & Miller Ave stop. It will be about a 16 minute walk from there. The Amphitheater is located behind the Mill Valley Public Library.

While SF is known for incredible public transportation, Mill Valley is not. While it exists, and it certainly would be possible to get to our venue with it, please keep in mind the areas public transport has been scored a 4/100. Rental cars, rideshares, or hitching a ride with another wedding guest who brought their car, might be easier.

Please go straight to our reception location, the Mill Valley Community Center at 180 Camino Alto, Mill Valley, CA. The Community Center has over 100 parking spots. While there is quite a lot of spaces, please carpool if you can. Please arrive early as well. Shuttles will take you from the Community Center to our ceremony location, and back. The time the last shuttle will leave will be posted here closer to the event.

27 miles to San Francisco International Airport (SFO)

35 miles to Oakland International Airport (OAK)

52 miles to Charles M. Schulz - Sonoma County Airport (STS)

You could take public transport from SFO to mill valley, but many of those routes take around 2 hours. Another option is the Marin Airporter shuttle. It similarly takes around 2 hours for public transport from OAK to mill valley. There is no shuttle service for OAK to Mill Valley.

Other options are rental cars, rideshare, or asking your favorite CA or OR wedding guest who chose to drive to Mill Valley to give you a ride.

There are plenty of hotel options in the area. However, please be aware that many hotels are booking up fast. The closest to our venue are:

•Acqua Hotel Mill Valley 555 Redwood Hwy, Mill Valley, CA 94941 (1.9 miles)

•Holiday Inn Express Mill Valley San Francisco Area, 60 Shoreline Hwy, Mill Valley, CA 94941 (1.9 miles).

Sharing an AirBnB with friends and family is a great option as well.
